The Solution

With a blank slate, we wanted to approach the project in a way that wouldn’t overwhelm the client. We started by focusing on which pages and content would be on the website.

Once we had the foundation of the website set, we moved on to design. Mr. Shaw was very flexible on design requirements, just asking that we use shades of blue as his main colors and fonts that he liked. With little to go on in terms of specifics, we created a homepage design that we could review together as a starting point. Luckily, Mr. Shaw loved the first iteration, allowing us to design the remaining pages for his review and then build the site for him.
