Monument Economics Group’s (MEG) economists have testified before state and federal courts and major international arbitration forums; they offer expert consulting and testimony in a variety of business and legal contexts.

MEG was founded in 2016 and originally set up its own website on Squarespace. As the firm began to grow, they contacted Dupont Creative for a new website and, in 2017, launched their first custom site on WordPress. After years of business growth, MEG was ready to upgrade its website and partnered with Dupont Creative again to take their website to the next level.

The Solution

MEG has grown considerably since 2017 and the new website needed to reflect that. In addition, MEG was ready for a sophisticated design that was more in line with its expanded business practice areas and to better position the firm against other industry players.

They wanted a design that didn’t rely heavily on stock imagery, but instead used shapes, colors, and movement. We created a light, airy website full of texture, bright, vivid colors, and bold messaging.

When we designed MEG’s previous site, a lot of the planning, strategy, and design centered around making it look like there was more content than there was. As a new firm, MEG didn’t have a library of past content, cases, or events to showcase. This iteration is the opposite: Much of the strategy and design focused on how to organize and streamline the incredible amounts of content they create as a firm, so we developed custom taxonomies to link together related content in a logical, UX, and SEO-friendly way.

The end result is a website that’s a true reflection of their modern firm while efficiently and effectively showcasing them online.
